McLaren Buyers Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 23 649 369 255, LMCT 0013190), trading as McLarenBuyers.com.au, respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information, with regard to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles where applicable.
What does the quiz collect?
The quiz collects your first name, mobile number, suburb and your car's model, year, kilometres and condition. Your enquiry also includes the page you submitted from, referring page, campaign details and submission time. Do not include banking passwords, verification codes or unrelated sensitive information.
Why do we collect it?
We use your enquiry to call about buying your McLaren, discuss the vehicle, arrange inspection and complete an agreed purchase. Submitting the quiz is not consent to unrelated marketing. We do not sell your personal information.
How is an enquiry handled?
The website sends your enquiry to our designated enquiry receiver when configured. It does not send SMS or email and does not create an account for you. During testing, when no receiver is configured, the details are logged in the browser only. Do not use real personal details for testing.
Who may receive information?
Information may be handled by our enquiry receiving and website service providers, and shared with your lender, vehicle-check or transport providers when needed for an agreed purchase, or as required by law. We limit sharing to what is necessary. Providers may process information outside Australia; the final receiving service and its handling arrangements will be reviewed before launch.
Do we use analytics?
Google Analytics is used only when configured. It may use cookies and process website usage information, including outside Australia. Quiz names and phone numbers are not sent in our analytics events. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How can you request access, correction or deletion?
Call 0495 042 223 to request access, correction or deletion, or to ask us to stop optional contact. We may need to verify your identity. Some transaction records must be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes; we will explain any limit on deletion.
How do we protect information?
We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse and unauthorised access. Information should be deleted or de-identified when no longer needed, subject to legal record-keeping requirements. No online transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
How do you raise a privacy concern?
Contact us by phone so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. This policy is subject to legal review before launch.
